Gaby Benaquo’s life is on fire.

 

In an alternate universe Mexico, wildfires run rampant. They tore away her family and home when she was a girl and left her terrified. Decades later, she has tried to fight back—from as far away as possible—through her work at the Ministry of Fire Warding.

 

But when Gaby’s charismatic, but hollow leadership leads her to make a fatal mistake, the town of Tecalpan is ravaged by the flames. To keep her job, Gaby must go meet its people, help them recover, and try to prevent a future catastrophe.

 

Join Gaby’s quest in this game of branching narratives, rich characters, deep world-building, and a natural backdrop that feels all too real. Play using a core mechanic in which Gaby’s ability to keep her cool, her persuasiveness, and her ability to understand the people she speaks to are directly tied to her public influence.
